    Thanks, Nitron! So glad to hear you liked it.

    I've made some good progress on it after leaving it alone for like 5-6 years. Changing to 8x4 ANSI tiles has made it playable in a normal terminal, unlike the older version that used 16x16 tiles and only worked well in 132x60 mode.

    The whole Jewel Mountain project was my daughter Jadzia's idea. I procrastinated after the initial experiments anf we never really achieved anything playable before she died in 2020.

    Anyway, my daughter Josie is interested, and now if we can nail down some good ideas for story/game, maybe we can start making this a reality.

    Thanks so much. It was (and is) a difficult loss. But we get through it day by day with God's grace.

    Yeah, the number of people interested and able to connect to BBSes is pretty small, so there's a very good chance we've interacted somewhere on the interweb s in the past.
