Hey all. Reliving a little childhood with checking out the current BBS world. Saw this was hosted in Ferguson, Missouri. Spent a large port > Em> of my life in the Saint Louis area and thought I would stop in for a visit.

It sounds like you were an OG BBSer in the 80s or 90s? If so, what boards were you calling in St. Louis?
I was a regular on Something in the Attic, Flash, Gateway City, and Fire Escape's HQ, to name a few.

Had a friend with a C64 and a 300-baud modem. Another whose Dad had a Mac SE with a modem. Spent a lot of time dialing into many boards in the 314.My parents ordered a PC for Christmas one year and since they couldn't deliver in time, they included a free 1200-baud modem. :-)
The only BBS name I remember is Den of Happiness. I would have to look at an archive list of Saint Louis boards to spark a memory.
I do recall seeing the telegraph guys at The Brewhouse in Ferguson years ago.
Lived in Jennings for quite some time.
Also quite cool that I saw people using the new C64 to connect here. Made me smile.
