    Hi Josh. Using IGS now, but I think something's not quite right. I logging in using FDT and switched too the ACC. I saw and heard a Star Trek image start to ddraw... but as Spock appears, loads of text over written it all...
    Tried using the main menu after (G?) and tried the BIG files (I assumed that was the way to playtest). Butt it'ss just text, a mess of text.

    Hi, I was previously trying FDT, but I've now just tested Teddy-Term.
    That seems toto work better. I see more of the Star Trek image, albeit still with some messy text - nothiing as bad as it was in FDT.
    Sadly, after that - when the log in appears - it logged me out as I'd been idletoo long LOL arghhhh
    I tried again, this time with the IGS window still open - i used the ATDT commmand here. Works albeit still with messy text over Star Trek. I kept tapping the spacebar a couple of times. So now the logon screen didn't time me oout. Sadly the Guardians menu appears messed up, perhaps in a 40-col mode. Notsure...

    I might have solved 99.9% of my issues. Re-cfg HSMODEM with larger buffer and now i see e the Star Trek intro - but there is still some corruption at the top. Only a big. The other sscreens worked:)
    Is there more to see here of IGS?

    Yes, definitely more to see. The menus are not really implemented yet, but if you go to Externals > Other Experiments > Instant Graphics & Sound tests, you will find lots of various demos and things.

    Can you tell me a bit more about your config? Which ST, how much memory, what version of IGS, what modem speed via HSMODEM, etc? (Many of my demos expect you're using IGS v2.19 or later)

    Definitely a large buffer helps a ton.

    My recommendation if you want to try IGS is to use the ACC *only*. Don't bother with launching another term program. Sounds like that's where you landed.

    Thanks, I have dodownloaded the latest and only use the ACC. (after loading Teddy-Teerm). I'm using a Mega ST - 4mb ram/toss 1.04 and only a couple of TOS patches. The HSMOODEM is alo the most recent (8) and it's all through a WiModemPro (19200).

    tbh the Star Trek start is (sorry) longwinded so I've disabled that at login. Buut it still gets corrrupt? text appearing near the end... Most others in the mmenu seem to work.

    It's quite something special this. Great to see and something unique for the ST... I really like it, hope you get more:)

    Also, I'm going to give youur BBS a mention on my AtariCrypt site as it'd be nice for othhers to see what you provide here.
